Hey Progressives: It's Time to Get Mad Dog Mean
Been awhile friends but the bad man is back, back with a vengeance and like the avenging spirit that was the famous Clint Eastwood role in High Plains Drifter I am getting ready to paint the town red. Red with pigs blood that is, of course in post-democracy America, in our all-seeing fascist surveillance society I speak in purely figurative terms, lest the midnight knock come and the jackboot of Homeland Security kick down my door. This is what it has come to, it's nut-cuttin' time, time to throw down, stand up, be counted and dispense with whatever passes for resistance in this electronically lobotomized lemming colony. Face it, things are never going to get better for the average person in Murka, the entrenched rot of corruption is too deep, can't be easily cut out, the financial system lies in smoking ruins thanks to a gangster government and the failed political system that has facilitated it. The swine and swindlers will continue to bleed this place until there is no blood left and then it will run in the streets, likely when the fascists and their propaganda pimps begin calling for the inevitable pogroms. Any moves to somehow ameliorate the suffering, take for instance yesterday's surprise announcement of the tapping of the oil reserves to stop the psychotic speculators and their masturbatory greed will be harshly and immediately attacked by a corporate media machine determined to keep the game rigged at all costs. Enjoy today because today is the best day that you are going to have for the rest of your lives, each subsequent day will be a gradual erosion of living standards, whatever remains of your rights and one toehold deeper into the abyss. This is the new American birthright for to be an American is to be a fat bovine creature, swaddled in stars 'n stripes ensconced in front of the precious television that provides the sweet, sweet spike for tens of millions of addicts. I have been away from it all for awhile, just not much inclination to write much. The 'death' of our Emanuel Goldstein, Osama bin Laden felt like a good place to end it all, the closing of the circle of the big lie of 9/11 that I have railed against for the past six years since I have been doing this. I certainly did consider it and did so very seriously, there are other projects that I would like to do, maybe some fiction, a book, other forms of media but the situation is too grave and there are too few fighters.Nietzche Active Groups Support His Views - News
Liberals and the 'left' have this view that 'we are better than they are so we don't have to stoop to their level', but in the end they always lose. As Nietzsche spoke of fighting monsters and warned of the abyss well it does look back but ultimately

He flew a flag with a swastika on it over his castle, some years before Hitler swiped the idea. Personally, I agree with Colin Wilson that “interest in occultism often involves a certain immaturity.” Link Link I should also mention Friedrich Nietzsche
Taking It Easy, But Taking It: Thoughts on The Virtue of ...
Up until now and I have a somewhat basic understanding of her philosophies in general. I’ve tended to completely disagree with what I’ve heard but given the interest of others and given my being a philosophy student, I’ve decided to read one of her philosophy books, go through a section or two and then write my thoughts. My own philosophy will no doubt play a role in how I read this book but my goal is to respond such that I’m more evaluating her philosophy as opposed to promoting my own. I’ve tagged you because I’ve either had discussions with you about Ayn Rand, have noticed that you seem to be interested in Ayn Rand or I’ve had interactions with you which indicate that you might be interested in this. Feel free to un-tag yourself if you don’t want to be tagged in these anymore. This book is apparently a collection of essays regarding the ethics of Ayn Rand’s philosophy. The introduction starts by laying out what exactly she means when she uses the term selfishness, as opposed to the selfishness that carries negative connotations. She explains that selfishness only has negative connotations because of the widespread support of altruism and that altruism is actually the cause of much of humanity’s suffering. This is why, for her, we need to elevate selfishness but not just self-interest. She supports what she calls rational self-interest which stands in opposition to a couple other forms of self-interest she discusses. of an action is the only criterion of moral value – and so long as that beneficiary is anybody other than oneself, anything goes.” A bit later she writes that “since nature does not provide man with an automatic form of survival, since he has to support his life by his own effort, the doctrine that concern with one’s own interests is evil means that man’s desire to live is evil – that man’s life, as such, is evil. No doctrine could be more evil than that.” Ignoring for a moment the presumption of an already existing, objective, good-and-evil morality that the last line affirms, let’s look at how Rand sets up this argument against altruism: This argument would be devastating if it weren’t for the fact that no one promotes the kind of altruism that Ayn Rand pretends people promote.
