so i posted a list of games for sale on craigslist, and this “Roy Williams” messaged me and he wants me to send him the games to Montana,

heres what he wrote to me. it seems kinda sketchy.

Hey, glad you came here to ask about this.

This is a scam. Here’s how it goes:

1) Scammer sends you a money order for your sale price plus some extra amount (the shipping agent’s fee)

2) You cash the money order and pay the extra amount to the “shipping agent” as his fee

3) Your bank calls you a week later and informs you that the money order was bogus, so now you’re out the amount of the money order, plus your goods (if you shipped them), plus whatever extra money you paid to the “shipping agent”

Good catch on this scam. Don’t do business with this person, and especially don’t give him any personal information about you.

but please,only deal with local folk,cash only,no money orders even because the usps has changed thier money order making plate becasue of the fraud ones that were printed-h yeah-deposting them in your bank,of course there gonna give you instant access to the money,but by the timeit cycles in the clearing house,it will bounce and the bank will hold you liable an it has happend,but,even though you were innocent?
